In 2010, Lisa channeled her lifelong passion for serving senior citizens into founding AllCare Medical Transport. Medicare Part B may cover non-emergency ambulance transportation to dialysis if you have end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and your doctor certifies that ambulance transport is medically necessary. However, Medicare typically does not cover non-emergency wheelchair or ambulatory medical transport. We recommend contacting Medicare directly or consulting with your dialysis center's billing department to understand your specific coverage. Many patients use Medicaid (if eligible), private insurance supplements, or private pay for our wheelchair and stretcher transport services. We're happy to provide documentation for insurance claims.
